Upon reboot, press or F7 on your keyboard to select Disable driver signature enforcement . Step 2: Connect the JAF Box Plug the JAF Box into a USB 2.0 port. Press Windows Key + X and select Device Manager .
Click , then select All Devices and click Next .
: Plug your JAF Box into a USB 2.0 port (USB 3.0 ports sometimes cause connection drops).
Because the JAF Box is a legacy hardware interface originally built during the Windows XP and Windows 7 eras, installing it on Windows 10 (64-bit) requires specific workarounds, signed driver overrides, and the correct emulation setup.
This is often a latency issue. Ensure you have adjusted the Latency Timer to 1 in the advanced port properties.
Copy the FTD2XX.dll file from your driver directory directly into the main installation folder where the JAF.exe file resides. This forces the software to use the local 64-bit compatible library rather than the system default.
