The first, and perhaps more widely known, is the singer who goes by the name (stylized as mizuki or 瑞葵). She is a powerhouse vocalist whose career is deeply connected with the famous composer and producer Hiroyuki Sawano . If you've watched certain anime series, you have almost certainly heard her voice.

In 1962, Yayoi participated in the prestigious Venice Biennale, representing Japan alongside other esteemed artists. This milestone marked a highlight in her career, solidifying her position as a leading figure in the global art scene.

In 1997, at the height of her popularity, Mizuki Yayoi vanished. For five years, no new work was published. Rumors swirled: she had joined a cult; she had been institutionalized; she became one of her characters.

Mizuki Yayoi's journey into the world of voice acting began when she was just a child. She was discovered by a talent scout and subsequently joined the Amuse talent agency, which would become a launching pad for her successful career. As a young voice actress, Yayoi started by dubbing foreign films and television shows, as well as providing voices for various commercials and video games.
